About Us

NC Network for Safe Communities is an information and resource sharing network for law enforcement, resource providers and other community partners engaged in focused deterrence work in the State of North Carolina.

Our goals are to share best practices in the field, provide a forum for easy and accessible information sharing, and to support others who are currently working in this field.

We represent sites from all over NC, including representatives from all three federal judicial districts. Many of our partners are engaged in sites operating under the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) monicker. PSN is a nationwide commitment to reduce gun and gang crime in America by networking existing local programs that target gun and gun crime and providing these programs with additional tools necessary to be successful.
