NC Network for Safe Communities is a research and evaluation services provider as well as an information and resources sharing network for law enforcement, local government agencies, and community-based partners engaged in violence reduction strategies across the State of North Carolina.”

Our goals are to provide objective and rigorous research and evaluation products to our partners, while also sharing best practices in the fields of violent crime reduction and public safety.”

We serve and integrate sites from all over NC, including representatives from two of the state’s federal judicial districts, and dozens of counties, cities, and community-based organizations. Many of our partners are engaged in Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) strategies, which is a national model for local partnerships to reduce violent crime and co-produce public safety using focused deterrence, community engagement, prevention and intervention programs, and accountability.
